Ushering at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church
Ushering at St. Luke’s is a vital task that can touch many services. Not only are ushers important to the organization and flow of the standard two services at 7:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. on each Sunday, many times these folks are the first people congregants and visitors see on Sunday mornings. Additionally ushers provide passive security for the church when services are being held. Ushers are also present for high holy days such as Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday and Holy Week.
Ever been curious about becoming an usher? It is relatively easy, there is an electronic usher duties booklet explaining the details of ushering, you get the chance to meet new people and possibly ring the church bell!
If you are interested in ushering, please contact the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org or the 2019-2020 Usher Warden, Lamar Talbert (303.519.7771-cell) or email@example.com.
