An Episcopalian is a person who belongs to The Episcopal Church, a branch of the worldwide Anglican Communion.
As Episcopalians, we are followers of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and we believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We strive to love our neighbors as ourselves and respect the dignity of every person. We celebrate our unity in Christ while honoring our differences, always putting the work of love before uniformity of opinion. All are welcome to find a spiritual home in the Episcopal Church.
As Episcopalians, we are followers of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and we believe The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the revealed Word of God containing all things necessary to salvation.
We believe in the worthiness of every individual and respect their dignity, including people of all ages, gender, races, cultures, sexual orientations, family configurations, economic circumstance, and religious traditions. We celebrate our unity in Christ always putting the work of love before uniformity of opinion. All are welcome to participate fully in the life, leadership, and ministry of St Luke's Episcopal Church.
We have 2 Sunday services - 7:45 am (in-person) and
10:15 am (in-person and live streamed).
Our address is 1270 Poplar St, Denver, CO 80220. Parking is available in our lot located on the corner of Quebec St. and 13th Ave.
Our worship is “liturgical,” meaning that the congregation follows service forms based in the Book of Common Prayer. Our services are traditional and accompanied usually by organ music and singing.
A principal part of each service is Holy Eucharist, also known as: the Lord’s Supper, or Holy Communion. We practice open communion where everyone is invited to participate.
In between services you are welcome to join us in our Parish Hall for coffee and conversation.
We welcome you exactly the way you are and you are encouraged to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in for church. From casual to something more traditional, you choose. There's a place for you no matter how you dress!
